Background

Until 1993 I worked within the field of education, mostly as a teacher of Swedish as a foreign language. After studying photography 1993/94 I began working as a freelance photographer, and since then I have spent as much time as possible on the Greek island of Kithira (Kythera), from where many of the photos you can see on this site were taken.

When I am in Sweden I still teach Swedish at various levels through intensive courses.

I was born in the north of Sweden, from where I left to study in Uppsala and later Stockholm, which has been my residence since 1976.
